[Mad Men Only Theatre] Space Rangers and Viper Menace

Okay, folks: get ready to cross the semi-final frontier. "Space Rangers and the Viper Menace" has its world premiere at Renaissance Theatre tonight, Friday, April 11.

A spoofy, campy send up of 1950's-60's pulp science fiction, "Viper Menace" promises to be a hoot. It features Andrew Cayse, Danielle Hurst, Jason Morgan, Emily Lynn, Gary Knight, Cindy Hrubecky, James Owens, Craig Reinhart, Jacque Bernard, Russ Willett, Brooke Higdon, Bryn Higdon and Will Erwin. The cast sings and dances their way across the galaxy, dealing with evil and greedy megalomaniacs, a mutating monster, some rather ditsy professors and each other, not to mention the ever-present Viper Menace.

The show is an original work of mine (book, lyrics and music). It was well received in a staged reading a year ago, and now it makes its way to the stage in a full production. The Renaissance Theatre Mainstage has never been this wild, and may never be the same again!

Tickets are $14, man, woman, child, or alien, and reservations may be made by calling 536-3117. Renaissance Theatre is located at 1216B Meridian St. in Huntsville. Show dates and times include:
