WHOOPS! I accidentally dropped notice for the closing weekend of Fantasy's "Gingerbread House". As you know, I do my best to avoid multiple Theatre Happenings mailings in the same week, but when it's me that screws up, I feel beholden to rectify. Luckily, I found the FP listing "in an old data backup", and this also gives me a chance to add a last minute addition, Randolph's "Music Man". Sorry for the multiple mailings, but at least the new format makes it less verbose.
ALSO, this gives me the opportunity to mention that we now have a domain name! Go straight to www.theatrehappenings.com for the latest scoop.

New! Now you can submit a comment (and look at others comments) about a production. Shows now have a link to allow you to be a reviewer! Siskel, Ebert, Tom Shales... and now you, too!Note: You can only comment on plays that have a run longer than one weekend.
For instance, here are the comments that were submitted for "Space Rangers and the Viper Menace"
New! I'm trying something new this week, subject to your (somewhat) mass approval. The number of productions is staying at just an incredible level, and this has resulted in some pretty massive emails. Starting this week, I'm only sending the Summary, which contains links back to the website for details about the production or audition (times, ticket info, summary, etc). This will make for a more succinct email, but will require you to click to get more info. Let me know how this works for you. If people like it okay (smaller email), I'll leave it that way. On the other hand, if you prefer the Full Monte Mail (watch it, Chuck, that's bordering on downright suggestive ), I'll consider, based on the way the tide runs, going back to the old mechanism. Or maybe even splitting into 2 lists, we'll see how it goes. You decide.
NOTE: Please let me know immediately if you have trouble with the links in this email. Remember, you can also view this information directly on the web page (some mail programs remove formatting):

Say, Here's a Brand New Idea...
How's about I just go ahead and list you if I know you, and have at least an email address, maybe a picture? Then you can update the information by sending it to me. That way, we'll get a little more movement. Sooo. Unless I hear from you in the negative, I'll just go ahead and do that...
Otherwise, it only takes a minute to send me your info. You can just send me email direct to:

Or visit the website:

You know I'm gonna keep mentioning this until everybody does sign up!!
Got a New Event?
Then scoot on over and use the form to send me the information. "Veeger requires the information". So do I.
