Add a New Event
Got a theatre event (production, audition, etc.) you'd like people to know about? Let us know about it, we'll post it and send out notices in the Theatre Happenings email list. www.puckettpublishing.com/theatre_events/submit_a_new_theatre_event.htm
Attention! New Web-Based Service Starting Up: Theatre People
I've created some new web pages on the site. The pages are a place for theatre people (actors, tech, directors, etc) to list themselves, so that they can easily be found when those people who are putting on productions need to find them. It's located at:
http://www.puckettpublishing.com/theatre_people/theatre_people.htm
So far, it's just got me and a few musicians who've signed up. But if all you actors and techies will click on over there, and start sending me your info, it could very well become a viable and quite useful resource. As it says on the web page, "This is a place to find people who do things theatrical. Yes, we hold auditions to find actors, we know people who design sets, who work back stage, play instruments, etc. But sometimes we can't find all the people needed in a production by our tried and true mechanisms. So this forum exists as a sort of clearinghouse/meeting place."
Anyway, I'd be pleased if you give it a look and consider throwing your info in the pool. It will be interesting to see how useful it can be.
