[Year Of Being 56] A new blog... just what you needed?

It's called "The Year if Being 56", and it was supposed to be a daily
chronicle of just that. But my 56th birthday was on June 2, and I've only
made 4 posts since then. Let's just say that actually living the year of
being 56 got in the way of chronicling The Year of Being 56. So it goes.

 

Anyway, now I'm getting a bit more "daily" about it, finding the rhythm, and
I fully expect it to be a regular thing. As regular as it gets when you're
56, at any rate (I leave the hidden irony for those who've passed whatever
bar makes it meaningful). 

 

Content? It's pretty much my ruminations on Life, the Universe and
Everything. That should cover all the bases. And the basis.

 

If I announce anything via this email list (a different entity than the blog
itself), it will be fairly infrequent. Maybe to mention an essay or poem or
song I thought especially worth raising a notice about, no more. But I do
invite you visit the blog itself. Register and add your commentary to
whatever I've posted: that's the blog idea, isn't it? An extended
conversation.
